Okay, I'm pretty certain that I called it several weeks ago...David Cook is the new American Idol!!!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!









In other news...I finished up my first graduate course Sunday evening from the comfort of the very computer that I'm using to post this message. I've figured it all up: I spent 1 hour in the actual classroom, maybe 2.5-3 hours actually doing the work (yep--all the work), which was 6 whole paragraphs--I mean--assignments. Each assignment cost me $86.66 to do. But I've got my first graduate "A" (or as the prof put it: I'm on the A-Team). Hooray for me! Round 2 starts June 2nd. I hope it's every bit as easy and expensive.

One last announcement: 5.5 days until school is out for summer, and I cannot wait! It can't come soon enough. It's funny to me how the kids are "allowed" to slack off and have poor attitudes, but the second you do it as a teacher, you're the one with a problem. (PS--I just want to say that I think I'm entitled to snap when I have answered the exact SAME question 4 times in a 50 second span, but whatever.) Then, they ask you what your problem is! You want to know what my problem is? YOU!!! (Not"you" reading this--"you" the student who asked what my problem is.) Grrrr....
