It's On!

So I'm pretty much done with my 4th hour. Some of the students are driving me crazy (short drive, I know). They monopolize all of my energy and what little patience I have left on a daily basis. I'm at my wits' end with these guys (yes, the problem children are boys--each and every one of them). Starting tomorrow, I'm going to be such a raging "B" those kids won't even recognize me.

My own children are causing me trouble, too. I think they've worked out a deal with my 4th hour lovelies. They won't listen, they talk when I talk. They whine and yell at each other (no idea where they would have learned that behavior...). All I know is that ever day, I catch myself telling my 4th hour students the exact same things I tell my 4 and 2 year olds: "Stop talking when I'm talking." "When you're the mommy/teacher, you can make the rules, until then we'll be doing things my way." ARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!

To complicate matters, I'm so sleepy that I can barely see straight. Friday night I went to bed at 7:45. I know what you're thinking, and no--I'm not pregnant. I think I need to start taking vitamins again.

Happy news, now: I just started rehearsals for a one act play, and in about 5 weeks, I'll be holding auditions for The Wizard of Oz. I'm really excited about my shows for this year. Hopefully my students will be as well.

I have to go feed and play with y virtual pet now. Caleb sent me downstairs a few minutes ago to decompress. Spending time with my kids today has me an impatient person, and my blessed husband recognizes this (and probably feels a bit guilty since he won't be home for the next 3 days).

Wish me and my kids (and my 4th hour) luck. We're going to need it.

PS--Sorry, but I'm not bothering to spell check or proof read this. Based on some of the typing errors that I've already caught, I probably should. But it's just not gonna happen today.

Thank goodness for randomly reading the Four of Clubbs blog--it lets me virtually catch up with some fantastic people!

Just wanted to let you know that you have a new reader/fan in Germany! ;)

Much love,
