Well, today that's what I'm going to do. Go back in time a little. In my effort to catch you up on the things I neglected to tell you about over the past 8 or 9 months, I shall hop in my time machine and punch in August 2011. The first day of kindergarten for my baby girl. And, as an added bonus, this is a world premiere of these photos, 'cause I'm pretty certain that I never got around to posting them on facebook!!
Walking to the elementary (from my building)
Stopped to pose with Mommy and Daddy. She's wearing her special "First Day of School Dress" that Grandma Vickie made just for her. Mom had the pattern and asked Riley if she wanted a dress like it (of course she did--it was a DRESS!), so Riley and I went to the fabric store and she picked out the material. She thought it would be just perfect for her first day of school.
