I Am Zen (Part II)

You might recall this same post title from approximately this time last year. It was crunch time for the musical and mother nature was bitch-slapping me all over the place.

Fast forward a year and it's deja vu all over again.

Yesterday I had parents demanding that I release their kids before rehearsal was over, even though it was only raining and the temperature outside was 36 degrees (well above freezing). Then today, I was counting on a snow day to get a bunch of work caught up. No snow day, but I got to stay home (sort of) with a sick little girl anyway, which basically means Riley and I spent the whole day running back and forth to take Connor to and from school. I did, however manage to get several loads of laundry done, though.

Now it's supposed to snow practically all weekend into Monday--almost a guaranteed snow day on Monday--first full dress rehearsal out the window.

Let's just say, the kids had better bring their A game, because we may only get 2 of our 4 dress rehearsals before opening night is here.

And in other news, I may be about to get hosed yet again, but I can't really get into specifics here on the interwebs. If you want specifics, you'll have to either give me a call (after this next week is over), or wait until said hosing actually happens.

I heart me life right now!

But I am zen...
