First Time-Blogger Coming Through!

I have always been one to resist fads. When we were kids and New Kids on the Block were HUGE, I chose to hate them. (For the record, I plan on choosing to hate them again this time around, too.) Capri pants? It took me 3 summers before I decided that they were not going away and that I should just bite the bullet and buy some. I still refuse to text. I just don't understand why texting is so amazing--I can barely type well with a grown-up sized keyboard, much less one of those tiny mini calculator things. Blogging? Seriously? Write something for fun? The last time I wrote anything, I knew it was gong to be returned with a grade written on it. I hate writing.

But I do enjoy reading my friends' blogs...

I like to see their photos...

I do spend an inordinate amount of time on the computer...

So I figure that I'll give it a try. I have a lot to say. I'm not so sure that anyone's really interested in my thoughts and views on things. I'm not so sure that anyone wants to see pictures of my little ones all the time. (No, seriously, please tell me if I become too much like Kathie Lee Gifford here.) But I will be glad to post all of these things on the internet for anyone to see. I know I won't always be great about keeping it updated, but I will try. I'll make that my April 12 Resolution. (Hey, I've done relatively well with one of my New Year's resolutions this year--it can be done!)

At any rate, that's all I have to say tonight. I'm going to need to rest so that I can come up with some sort of pearl to write about tomorrow....
