It's been a week since I decided I was going to do this whole lose 14 pounds before I turn 33 bit. And since Weigh-In Wednesday sounds better than Weigh-in Thursday, Wednesdays will be my check in days. When I stepped on the scale this morning, I was down 2.2 lbs from last week, which is great, but probably undeserved. Let's just say that this past weekend was not the greatest as far as eating habits are concerned (out of town, graduation--it will be a later blog entry), and I've had to up my dosage of my migraine medicine (still not to the amount that allegedly helps one to lose weight, but still).
I have been really good about my exercise this week. The only days that I missed were Friday and yesterday. Friday was out of necessity--I had to pack for our weekend and drive all over the great state of Missouri, and I had to do the majority of this as a single mom. Yesterday I tried to work out, but I'm having an issue with my foot right now. I was able to get a whole whopping 10 minute walk in at the Y. I blame Jillian. I didn't have this foot pain until she started making me do jumping jacks.
Hopefully tonight I'll be able to run again.
Anyone else want to report some progress? Post it in the comments, even if it's anonymous. I think having other people to report to is part of the key here.

Ok, so Dan and I started the P090X program this week. Now, keep in mind that we did 45 days of the P90 before this, we have been exercising and *trying* to eat healthier for almost 2 months now.....
Results: NO weight loss (which I could just chalk up to gaining muscle) and my clothes are getting TIGHTER!!!!!!!!!!!! What is up with that! My body fat has not gone down at all...and at this point I am getting really discouraged! Ugh...I hate trying to be healthy! Bleck!
C'mon Jess, you can do it!!! Maybe P90 just isn't for you.
And seriously, how much body fat did you actually have to start with?
